If you have found a pet that is wearing a Crumb Tag, you can scan the QR code on the back of their Crumb tag, which will take you to their online pet profile.
How can I get in touch with the owner?
Once you have scanned the Crumb tag, you will be taken to their pet profile. From within the Pet Profile, you have two ways to get in touch with the owner.
Call the owner:
The fastest way to get in touch with the owner is to call them. In order to call the owner, you'll need to click the "Call Now" button, just like in the screenshots below:
If they don't answer, you can try to call another contact on their Pet Profile:
Share your location:
You can share your exact location with the pet's owner by clicking the "Share Location" button on their pet profile. You'll need to click the "Share Location" button, then give your web browser permission to share your location:
Once you have shared your location, the owner will receive a text message with a Google Maps pin to your exact location.
Troubleshooting:
Error: User Denied Location
This usually means that your internet app is not granting permission to share your location. To fix this, head over to your phone settings, and ensure that location services are enabled on your Internet app.
