Once your tags have been set up, we strongly encourage you to to test out all of the features available in the Crumb app, and your pet's profile. If you notice that the calls are not going through to the owner, here's what you need to do.
Double-check the phone number on your account:
The phone number on the pet profile could be incorrect. Here's how you can check:
Log in to the Crumb app
Enter your email into the app and request a verification code. Here's how to do that.
Open Owner Information
Once logged in, click on the circular icon in the top right corner of the home screen. It may be a photo, or just your initials.
Select "Contacts" and see the primary phone number
Here, you can see the number, or numbers that should be reachable through a pet profile. You can easily change a number if it's incorrect by tapping on it, and typing in a new number.
Disable any filters for calls from unknown numbers:
If you have a filter on your phone settings to not allow calls from unknown numbers, you'll need to disable the filter to allow calls from unknown numbers in order to receive a phone call from Crumb. Remember, Crumb uses a call masking feature to protect the privacy of strangers, so even a person whose contact you have will appear as an unknown number if they reach you through your pet's profile.
Disabling this is easy, here's how:
iOS (iPhone)
Head to the settings app, scroll to the bottom and select "Apps". Then search for the "Phone" app and click on the Phone app settings.
Scroll down and look for an option that is labelled "Silence Unknown Callers". Click into that setting and make sure that it is disabled, just like in the screenshot beneath.

Android
Since Android devices vary in their user interfaces, you'll need to find out how to do this on your particular device. You'll most likely be looking to disable a feature called "Block numbers", or "Block spam calls" though!
