If your pet ever goes missing, it's vital to alert as many people as possible in the local area. That's why we developed a vet and shelter notification system, which kicks into action if you ever mark your pet as missing in the the Crumb app.
We access our enormous database of vets and animal shelters and identify those within 10 miles (~16km) of your home address.
Once we know which vets and shelters are in your area, we email them all explaining that your pet has gone missing, along with helpful identification details. We also send them a link to the missing pet poster which we create, which anyone can use to contact you if they find your pet!
When a pet goes missing, every minute counts. That's why we act immediately when our users mark their pets as missing!
