How to mark your pet as missing

From within your Crumb Dashboard, you are able to mark your pet as missing. As soon as you have marked them as missing, we'll notify every Vet, Shelter, and Crumb Member within your local area, increasing your chances of being reunited with them the fastest.

The faster that you are able to mark them as missing, the better. Here is how you do so:

Open up the Crumb App and navigate to "My Pets"

Once logged in, click on the My Pets button at the bottom of the page:

Navigate to My Pets.gif

Click on the pet who is missing:

Here you will see all the pets on your account. Click on the pet who is missing:

Indicate their last known location

This will help others know exactly where to look:

Leave any additional notes:

Useful notes could be what colour harness/collar they were wearing at the time, did they chase anything, etc. Once you have submitted your notes, click "Confirm as missing":

Review your contact information

At this stage, we recommend double-checking the contact information on your account to ensure accuracy. You can do so by clicking on the Profile icon, then "Account Details":

Here you can see the phone number for the owner as well as the phone number of any additional contacts. If you need to make any changes to any of the details, you can do so on this page.

I have found my lost pet, now what?

All you need to do is repeat these steps. Instead of the button to mark them as missing, you'll be able to mark them as found:
